Now Iíve got a camera and computer that works (though Iíve still got to get the data of my old one, I need to work on backing up my computer more often. It would solve allot of problems) and have had photos taken of me in my other shirts by my good friend
itís time to get some stuff up here.
This was the first shirt I made and was done in preparation for Supanova 2012 in Adelaide after finally giving up after years of trying to find a team Edward Elric shirt. I got it signed by the big man Vic Mignogna himself and heard afterward from someone that he told them it was one of the best handmade shirts heíd seen, which well and truly made my day.
The shirt its self is a plain black shirt I bought from Kmart. I used a combination of bleach stencilling and fabric paint to do the design. (basic level paintwork and moderate level bleach work, the letters and especially the FMA flamel were a pain to make) It took 4 days to finish. Work was done to both the front and back. Everything was done entirely by hand, no screen printing or pre-existing decorations on the shirt. The signature however is obviously not mine, I did however go over it with black fabric paint later so I could wear it without worrying about it coming of in the wash.
Other views of the same shirt- check them out (without access to proper editing program it was easier to upload multiple photos than try to use paint to make a composite one, still canít find the Photoshop dicks to load it onto my new computer.)
Being worn... (model=me photographer=
This shirt is not for sale (it mightnít be your size anyway and thereís no way Iím giving away a signed shirt) however I am taking commissions for custom shirts (if you really wanted you could get this same design or come up with your own). Details can be found in my journal [link]
or on my home page.
I do not own Fullmetal Alchemist. FMA belongs to Hiromu Arakawa and its respective licence holders (Viz media, Madman, Funimation, est.).
