Commission for :iconfrostywolfen:

The shirt its self is a plain black shirt I bought from Kmart. I used a combination of bleach stencilling and fabric painting to do the design. (moderate level paintwork and moderate level bleach work) It took 4 days to finish. Work was done to both the front and back. Everything was done entirely by hand, no screen printing or pre-existing decorations on the shirt.

Other views of the same shirt- check them out (without access to proper editing program it was easier to upload multiple photos than try to use paint to make a composite one, still can’t find the Photoshop disks to load it onto my new computer.)

This shirt is not for sale (it already has a buyer) however I am taking commissions for custom shirts (if you really wanted you could get this same design or come up with your own). Details can be found in my journal fav.me/d5qljrx or on my home page.

I do not own Fullmetal Alchemist. FMA belongs to Hiromu Arakawa and its respective licence holders (Viz media, Madman, Funimation, est.).

The use of the bleach was genius! If the letters are hand painted then it is amazing! You did a great job on transforming a plane T-shirt into this awesome work of art! ^-^ I love how you added "~Edward Elric" at the bottom. It gave it more feeling. The red paint that you used just tied the whole piece together. I like the way you put the bleach onto the shirt, it allows the eye to move around it more easily. I'm sorry if this critique isn't good... this is my first one... but I really did love this shirt, If it was for sale I would try to buy it.
